Roxy Music · 1975
Another masterpiece. Everyone should know this album. Roxy was just too cool for school and one of the more influential bands of their time. Where would Duran Duran be without them? Hell, an entire sub-genre of rock music probably wouldn’t exist without them or David Bowie. And like Bowie, they were sexy and suave and swinging.

Jane's Addiction · 1990
Sprawling and volatile, one third punk, one third metal, one third pure art rock chaos that somehow holds together. The two epics, Three Days and Then She Did..., are the real backbone here, twisting through moods for nearly twenty minutes combined without ever losing the thread. Been Caught Stealing is the obvious hit, playful and loose in a way that almost hides how weird the rest of the record actually gets. Classic Girl closes things on a genuinely tender note, proof the band could do restraint just as well as excess. Feels like a band burning as bright as possible right before falling apart, which is exactly what happened. Messy, ambitious, and one of alt rock's defining moments.

It's pretty good. A couple misses, but the rest of the album makes up for it. I am not performative.

D'Angelo · 2000
Deep, unhurried, and dripping with a groove that feels lived in rather than performed. D'Angelo builds everything around the pocket, that loose, behind the beat funk sitting right at the center of it all, pulling from Sly Stone and Marvin Gaye without ever sounding like pure homage. Untitled (How Does It Feel) is the obvious centerpiece, intimate and quietly seductive in a way that doesn't need the video to land. The rest of the record moves at its own pace too, patient and organic, jams that stretch out and breathe rather than rushing toward a hook. Feels like a live band caught in a single unbroken exhale, warm and human in a way most R&B from that era wasn't chasing. A defining neo soul record, still without real peers.

Sprawling and sleek, an 80s tinged fever dream that somehow never loses its footing across 17 tracks. Slides between dance floor swagger, hazy shoegaze reveries, and outright soul balladry, Healy sounding equally at home crooning or strutting through it all. The Sound and Somebody Else carry that shimmery, John Hughes soundtrack quality, big and glossy without feeling hollow. Some of the ambient interludes drift a bit long and could've been trimmed, but even the excess feels intentional, like the sprawl is part of the point. Ambitious in a way few pop records actually commit to. Overstuffed, sure, but rarely boring for a second.

This album defined a moment in time. It encapsulates youth. It makes you want it back. From its highlights to its lesser-known tracks, it's a true artistic wonder.

Audrey Hobert · 2025
This is a polished, perfect girlhood album. It has one minor scuff: "I like to touch people." This track's melody is catchy, and don't get me wrong, I still find myself singing along. But its lyrics are more or less strange and, in my opinion, confusing and unrelatable to most.

Damien Rice · 2002
Tenderness and honesty in album form. No bells and whistles, which makes this album great. The skippiness (no idea if this is a real word) added to the radio version of Cannonball takes away everything that this album is…raw and stripped back. Tough one to only choose three tracks from.

artms es un grupo de kpop formado por ex miembros de LOONA. Este disco/EP consta de 6 canciones que no solo se nutren musicalmente de la industria del kpop, sino que hay espacio para dosis de hiperpop y drum&bass. Serotonina pura.

A near perfect album, definitely a perfect Linkin Park one. A concept album that won’t be for everyone but a wonderfully crafted story that tells of devastation, loss, rebuilding, and raw emotion.

Elton John · 1971
Elton’s best album IMO, like nothing else he’s done. Well known tracks such as Tiny Dancer (thank you Cameron Crowe) and Levon, paired with the longer and more epic title track and Indian Sunset….sampled by none other than 2Pac!
