After Laughter
Paramore · 2017
After Laughter is my favorite Paramore album. As a young woman, i feel very connected to the up-beat music with heartbreaking lyrics. No skips.

Halsey · 2024
This is one of my favorite albums of all time. My mother had lupus and has sadly passed. This album helps me feel connected to her. Letter to God (all 3) brings me to tears each time. If you know love and pain and loss, this is the album for you.

GOASTT · 2014
Love this album. They’re mining the Beatles psychedelic rock. They find that groove and don’t let go. It’s also amazing that Sean sounds just like his dad.

Adele · 2021
This album got many mixed reviews, but I personally love this album. I love how it's raw, vulnerable, and honest. This album was overlooked and some of her best vocals are on this album.

My introduction to this band. BJ’s approach to music has made it impossible for many to continue to work with him, but the work is phenomenal.

Fan of Jason since the Drive by Trucker’s days but this was a pivotal moment in my fandom. Every track in this album is a standout. There are zero skips.

Black Sabbath · 1970
9/10 — A solid album and one of Black Sabbath’s most iconic records. Paranoid is Black Sabbath at their heaviest, most direct, and most influential. From the explosive opening of “War Pigs” to the unforgettable “Paranoid,” “Iron Man,” “Electric Funeral,” and “Hand of Doom,” the album delivers one classic riff after another while establishing the blueprint for heavy metal. What makes it so memorable is its combination of crushing guitar work, Ozzy Osbourne’s distinctive vocals, dark atmosphere, and powerful songwriting. The songs are heavy and aggressive, but they also explore themes of war, addiction, paranoia, and social unrest, giving the album more depth than its raw sound might initially suggest. Although it is not completely flawless, its influence and consistency are undeniable. A solid 9/10 and an essential Black Sabbath album. It remains one of the defining records in heavy metal and a landmark album that helped shape the sound of rock music for decades to come.

I was very late to discover this band. This album was my introduction to them. It remains my favorite album of theirs.

8/10 — A great album and one of David Bowie’s most iconic records. The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars is Bowie at his most theatrical, imaginative, and charismatic. From the explosive opening of “Five Years” to the unforgettable “Starman,” “Moonage Daydream,” “Ziggy Stardust,” and “Rock ’n’ Roll Suicide,” the album creates a vivid world built around its legendary alien rock-star character. What makes it so memorable is its combination of glam rock energy, ambitious storytelling, and Bowie’s magnetic performance. The songs are catchy, dramatic, and full of personality, while the album’s concept gives it a strong sense of identity. Although it is not flawless, its influence and creativity are undeniable. A solid 8/10 and an essential David Bowie album. It may not be my absolute favorite of his records, but it remains a landmark in rock music and one of the defining albums of the glam rock era.

Oasis · 1995
Although I recognize the impact and weight of Oasis I must say that the band was never my cup of tea. Mainly because of the to strong nasalated voice. I like it, they had their time but I don't listen anymore. It feels dated.
