purple rain asf

ily claire

A brilliant album let down by one song (ISHFWILF)

get food, barely eat

great album

that's a another radiohead's perfect album of all time

Just fantastic. The sheer inventiveness of Jane Doe is staggering, but what really gets me is how perfectly paced it is. For something this chaotic, violent and relentless, there isn’t a second that feels accidental. It’s brutally heavy, but there is so much going on underneath the surface. Every time I return to it, I seem to hear something new. And seriously, name a band with a more consistently great discography than Converge. I dare you.

The genius of His Purple Badness is undeniable, and I don’t think he ever shone more brightly than he does here. Sign O’ the Times is Prince at his most fearless and inventive. Funk, soul, rock, pop, psychedelia. He seems able to do absolutely anything, and somehow it all belongs together. There are very few artists where the word “genius” feels completely justified. Prince was one of them, and this is his masterpiece.

What could actually make a better album than 5 people in the 70s who all love and hate each other at the same time

One of my favourite albums oat

I don’t want to talk about it.

Bob’s magnum opus.

The greatest album ever.

The apex of recorded sound.

Extremely fun, funky, with a great deal of unique riffs and solos. It has everything, from crazy loud guitars, basses solos to softer and emotional poems. It's one hell of album listening experience.

Probably the best album of the 2020s.

On paper this really shouldn’t work but it does. Watch the throne for alt rap

Saw them on Mother’s Day -it rained, they ran out of songs, cops were called. These guys fucking rock
