The lyrics are good, but the rhythm doesn't quite convince me. It's very laid-back; it doesn't feel all that pop to me. It explores different sounds and mixes, which I found interesting, but it's just not really my style.

Outrageously creative with its bars and with its samples. Doom was working on a different level here.

Back in the day, this would have been a 10, but this is a case where I cannot separate the art from the artist.

It felt a bit slow to me because of the way the girl sings—she has a good voice, but it’s slow. Some songs are upbeat, but the album as a whole didn't really grab me.

Wild West End is one of my favorite songs, hands down.

Abbey Road somehow never feels old. It’s polished but still weird, emotional without being overly sentimental, and experimental without feeling like it’s trying too hard. You can feel four completely different personalities pulling in different directions, but somehow it still works. It feels effortless, a little unhinged, incredibly cool, and completely its own thing.

Get comfy, dim the lights and hit play. Let Pink Floyd take you on a journey that is Wish You Were Here. Starts and ends with Shine On You Crazy Diamond. Going forward into Welcome To The Machine. Have A Cigar is all about the business of music. “Which one is Pink”! Mourning the loss of Syd Barrett. Ending back at Shine On (parts 6-9). This is a killer album with no skips. Block out the 45 minutes it takes to listen to this classic album. Enjoy!

Opens with a 1970s cassette of her mother singing and closes by returning to it. Recorded largely live at Studios Opus in L'Assomption, and you can hear the room: air around the piano, a trumpet that appears and fades. The mid-album tempo can flatten out, but Rhythm of Nature, nine minutes in a single take, justifies the patience it asks for. The moment she stopped proving anything.
