Unbelievable overrated. Unbelievably under-appreciated. Well produced well sung well played. A gem. (catch documentary if you can)

High school, baby.

This is a great Album. From the first track to the last. Trains is one of the better songs I have heard in a long time

My whole, my soul, the most perfect album ever. So many memories associated with this one - was on loop as I practised my math in my high school years. Running to Stand Still felt like the anthem of my teenage angsty years 😀😂

Talk about perfection. This album is a 100% pure love letter to dance culture. If you put it on today it's as fresh as the day it dropped. Could be a top 3 album from her for me.

Sounds like the Beatles closing the book on their own terms. That second side medley flows like nothing else, little pieces stitched into something bigger. Still catchy, still a bit weird, just tighter and more assured than before. A victory lap that never gets smug.

Sprawling and kind of insane in the best way, feels like way too many ideas crammed into one record but somehow it all holds together. Goes from pure beauty to total chaos and back without warning. Every verse feels like he's trying to outdo the last one. Not a comfortable listen but definitely an unforgettable one.

If you're a millennial and haven't listened to this album, you might wanna rewind your life and try again. Yes, he is polarizing, controversial and more often than not stubborn... this album started the 5-album run he went on that cannot and will not be overlooked.

Feels like a night out and the comedown after, both at once. The grooves lock in hard but there's a sadness running under it, like he already knows it won't last. Funny and moving without ever really trying to be either.

My favorite artist ever and this is his masterpiece. Incredible story telling, musical perfection, and creative compositions. Oh also a top 3 rock voice.

I'm a huge Beatles nut, but Gimme Shelter , in my opinion is the greatest song ever written. Merry Clayton's background vocal...oh my.

Admittedly it took me years to understand the hype, but seeing the reunion tour videos showed me these were anthems and that they should be listened to on full blast in your car, covered at the local pub, and belted at Kareoke. This is a masterpiece.

Not huge into The Killers, but it’s got some solid tracks

Let the Dead Out, Get the Led Out...Bow to Bruce? This album is essential to how I grew up - it was played in the car, on the stereo in the house, on my iPod on the bus to school. My mom raised me to love Bruce's work during this time of his career. Trying to pick between "Darkness on the Edge of Town" and this album is hard for me because I love them both equally. Every song tells of relatable struggle, looking for a sense of belonging, and perseverance through the absolute hardest of times. It might seem basic to love this album and this version of Bruce Springsteen in general, but I simply do not care. No skips on this album at all.

New, but digging it so far

Not a bad track.

Unbelievable stuff. Mixing Cuban music with New Orleans funk. This album will get you dancing.

Influenced nearly every sound from the release of this onward, maybe the greatest debut in rap, and has aged almost perfectly

Bruce Springsteen is the quintessential American songwriter. He has built a career in music that just a few can reach.

Found this album to be more background noise than impactful for me. I like Van Morrison's music, but this album really was not for me.
