Good primer into Steely Dan.

bags bags bags bags bags

Sometimes when writing a review I have an urge to share a pun that comes into my head and, as all intrusive thoughts, begs to be released into the wild. But here, here I just have no words. How do you comment somebody's complex, rich and painful experience packed into a 52-minute record and turned into something so... Magical seems a bit of a wrong way to put it, but nothing else describes the power that unleashes the moment you press play. The ability to take your own grief, face it head on and turn it into something as beautiful as this record is exceptional. I am very happy I became Phoebe's fan years ago and I am happy she just keeps proving to me she is one of very very best to do it. Thank you for sharing this with us, I am truly honoured to be trusted with carrying this record forward.

Wow, I didn’t know I liked this kind of music so much. A hidden gem of an album!

Dan Penn as Cooke

One of the most powerful live recordings ever made. Whatever your beliefs, this is worth a listen.

Genuinely as soon as I saw trackstar.net was a thing, I knew I had to put these guys on here. Seriously, the level of trance I’m put in listening to any of their music, astounding.

Spun this again. Will keep on playing this album forever

This is a really good album that not enough people are talking about!

criminally underrated. more people need to hear this

Maybe the most underrated musician currently on stage. “Iron Sky” in particular is a masterpiece. I’ve heard it a thousand times, and it still gives me goosebumps every single time. Caustic Love is an absolute must-listen for anyone who truly loves music.

One of the best!

One of the best songs by one of the best bands played and recorded in the best country. And we live in a time the Gallagher bros could reconnect and do this. Amazing. Erin go bragh 💚☘️🤘🎸💚

A masterpiece by Trent Reznor. Love it from start to finish.

One of the best if not the best U2 albums.

Amazing follow up to Definitely Maybe. So many bangers.

There are better comps out there, but this is the one I grew up with. Buddy Holly is in the root ball of rock and country. These songs are legendary, but incredibly durable. They hold up.

“Music is the weapon of the future.” Fela Kuti defies definition or explanation. Tony Allen created a whole new vocabulary of groove, but don’t think, just dance.

Surprisingly, I like jazz very much.

Every song is amazing. “Spokane” might be the standout.
