9.0My introduction to Geese and very happy about it. Glad I came in for this one and went on to discover the rest. CW....Original voice in a sea of similar voices. Very cool.

8.4Two things can be true: this album is amazing and this album is overhyped.

8.0I can see why people like them, but for me, they’re just too much sometimes. The Talking Heads-like spoken singing is interesting, especially with David still alive, and I appreciate that they brought something different into today’s mainstream.

9.0Love’s ability to unravel and rebuild us shapes the wise fourth album from this young New York garage rock band. Formed in a Brooklyn music school, their deep connection fuels a rare magic: subtle chord changes pack immense emotional weight, blending tight grooves with wild, free-flailing energy. Cameron Winter’s soulful, reedy head voice and peerless lyrics anchor the record. Though striving for a higher frequency, he remains grounded by heartbreak and circumstance, glumly pouting on Bow Down: “I was a sailor, and now I’m a boat / I was a car, and now I’m the road.” Uau!!!
