Fontaines D.C.

Thank You for making me believe lyricism is not dead. Incredibly visual, impeccable production. My favourite band from our generation

This is my favorite Fontaines dc album! It has made such an impact on me I love pretty much all the songs on it. Romance is a place.

Grown up but not grown out of the angst, dressed now in strings, synths and the occasional nu-metal flirtation. Where Skinty Fia got bogged down in its own seriousness, this one allows for levity. Starburster came out of a panic attack and keeps feeling like it might veer off the rails without ever doing it. Beauty in the darkness, and a damn good pop song at the end.
