Muse

I've always loved Muse's distinctive sound, but this album feels a little too pop-oriented for my taste. There are still moments where their heavier, almost metal-driven identity shines through, and those are the ones I enjoy the most. What I find interesting is the sense of a hopeful apocalypse running through the record, as if there's still a light at the end of all the chaos. I enjoyed it, but I wish they'd leaned a little more into their heavier side.
