Nothing But Thieves

it is soon to know how i will feel about this album forever, but after a week of listening to it everyday i feel like it is a solid album... and that's it. their characteristic sound is still very much there and within seconds you can tell it is nothing but thieves, but i think i was just waiting for more. the band has always been amazing into making statements through their music, and with everything going on in the world at the moment i just thought it would be more of a critic album, following something such as the 'moral panic' steps. it is a safe album when most of the industry is playing it safe. don't get be wrong though, their good album is still an above the average album, but with their discography being so iconic i guess i was just expecting much more.
