Frank Ocean

Hazier, lonelier, and somehow even more intimate than what came before. Everything's stripped back here, pitched vocals, loose structures, songs that drift instead of building to some big moment. Self Control is the gut punch, that kind of quiet heartbreak that just creeps up on you. Less immediate than Channel Orange, but it rewards the patience, sticks with you longer the more you sit with it. The kind of record you grow into rather than out of.

Frank at his most open, before things got hazier and more guarded. Feels like a whole world in one record, love, loss, growing up, all these little vignettes that add up to something bigger. Forrest Gump is sweet and kind of goofy in a way he doesn't really do again, but honestly almost every track could be a highlight, that's part of the problem picking favorites. Warm, detailed, patient in the storytelling, never rushes a feeling just to get to the next one. A record where the deep cuts hit just as hard as the singles.

Was originally a blonde girl but I got this one on CD and there’s nothing that hits better than channel orange as the day turns to dusk and then to night. Comfort album

Best album aot don’t think Frank will release another one after this. Unreal nostalgia and production from this, absolutely no notes

Прикольно звучит, но я ничего не понимаю и не запоминаю в его абстрактщине

This album has carried me since middle school. I listen to it every time I need to cry.

Happy Birthday
