Sunset Rollercoaster

Lead vocalist Kuo transformed the Qetagalan Aboriginal tribe’s legend of the Seven Star Mound into a romantic story between aliens. To complement this concept, he collaborated with the Bulareyaung Dance Company, which promotes indigenous culture, for the vocal harmonies. The concept echoes “VANILLA VILLA,” presenting the idea that the power of longing enables the alien to grow into a tree, continuously reaching higher toward that sun. From a listening perspective, this song effectively delineates the album as a whole, particularly in terms of atmospheric mood and context. It carries forward the lyrics “Keep on moving on, Even when you’re gone, Keep on growing toward the sun, My heart is overrun” as the album progresses.
